On Friday February 27th,2009 Wilhelm Karl Ellwanger n.k.a. Robert William Bonneville was convicted on Friday February 13^th, 2009 on all 12 counts.   He has now been sentenced.  Sentencing went late on Friday (February 27^th, 2009).  Mr. Bonneville received a sentence of 63 months in prison.  This crime is subject to ½ time off for good behavior.  He will therefore serve about 2 years.  I have also been informed that his new attorney is planning on bringing a motion for new trial.

Note: the lax sentencing is not the fault of the prosecutor, the prosecutor was asking for 10 years.  The poor sentencing is the fault of the judge who evidently does not think that identity theft, theft and mortgage fraud are important or substantial crimes.  There have been DUI prosecutions that resulted in more hard time.

Note: the Washington State Department of Licensing has had numerous complaints against Ellwanger, his accomplices in crime and his family members but have afforded the Ellwanger gang every possible courtesy and have for years imposed only absolute minimal sanctions, if any at all, with most complaints simply being dismissed regardless of how much evidence was supplied.  In time it will become public who worked for who, who was related to who, who donated money to what political campaigns, etc.

Note: from the Pierce County Sheriff Incident date to the conviction date is over three years, yet the actual hard time served is likely to be less than that.
